B L U E F L Y – Founded in 1998, this online luxury goods retailer specialized in discoun men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, as well as beauty and home furnishings.

Challenge

Grow the creative and production team’s output in preparation of expanding product sales for this recently launched e-commerce start-up.

Solution

Develop a new style of creative that can be cost effective for marketing while also increasing the production line by introducing smarter ways of producing for web.

  • Build an internal photography studio to support lifestyle and product photoshoots.

  • Develop campaigns that were not location dependent and spun more creatively.

  • Create faster strategies for production to bring product to market.

  • Plan photoshoots that can be used in campaigns for multiple times of the year.

Result

Innovative approaches to design and production resulted in higher productivity. More product was able to flow through the production line due to the introduction of an in-house photo studio while the design team created campaigns that would receive notoriety within the e-commerce community.

 

Campaigns were shot in-house with only 1-2 models. The same models were repeated throughout different campaigns in fresh digitally created environments.

Catalogs and promotional mailers were an integral part of the brand’s outreach program.
