About the Brand

B T W – This European brand, also known as Better Than Water, is about one thing—cold pressed juices. Launching a juice line in 2019, the focus will be promoting a better way to live a health-conscious lifestyle. Flavors will be titled befitting to action or need such as Energize to Hydrate. With manufacturing and distribution in Spain, plans to expand to the US in the near future are underway.

Challenge

Design a thoughtful package to support a successful campaign in Europe that will translate well for the US market.

Solution

Build a bottle that is luxe, simple to recognize, colorful and international from a design POV.

  • Use a simple generic bottle at launch to save on initial costs.

  • Take some of those savings to produce labels with more complex details for the luxe feel.

  • Create an icon and color based system for future drinks to follow.

  • Ensure the bottle sizes fit hospitality wet bars for a quick initial distribution test.

Result

Two juice flavors will be introduced to coincide with a launch of a luxury hotel in Ibiza. So far, the bottle has received positive feedback within the industry for its detailed design which included a spot matte varnish and clear label window to show off the juice color.

 

Two flavors were produced for the launch of the brand. The icon and color coded bottles differentiate the flavors visually on the store shelf.
