About the Brand
O R I G I N S – The company is known for their natural skin care products. Origins is notable for its ongoing collaboration with Dr. Andrew Weil in his own line of products that target inflammation and sensitive skin. After 25 years, the brand now has approximately 1,400 stores globally and is expanding.
Challenge
Help launch a new 100% organic product line that sets itself apart from the rest of the products.
Solution
In order to not overshadow the existing product line, which was only partially organic, these 100% organic products would have to be promoted on a different level and given its own stage.
Build an online boutique separate from the origins.com website but still maintain brand and shopping capabilities on both platforms.
Create an interactive learning experience that explores the world of organic product through storytelling.
Grow the brand with inspiring design and graphics for a future redesign of their website.
Result
The boutique site was a success. Sales were exceptional for the launch of the 100% organic line but also more importantly, projected sales for the existing product lines followed estimates as expected. Building the launch separate from the site also allowed for better concept and development for a confident press release campaign. The current website platform did not allow for the development features of the boutique site and would have resulted in a lackluster marketing campaign.
