U N D E R W E A R E X P E R T – This subscription based online retailer offers curated underwear packages that feature a selection of over 50 designer brands. The brand has become a global men’s underwear resource, serving up everything you need to know about men’s underwear trends.
Challenge
Elevate social and email design and direction while improving all creative digital online and print collateral while also supporting a brand relaunch and ISP/ ESP re-platform all within a limited budget.
Solution
Develop superior graphics for social and email that will drive the brand redesign and other aspects of brand collateral. Ease the pressure off of the creative team by creating a new and inspiring direction for email and social campaigns.
Retouch older images to superimpose the newly designed logo rather than reshooting.
Alter existing photography to include newer product and add an elevated look and feel.
Create smart visual content that can be consistently repeated throughout site, email, social and print channels.
Build a new brand guide that unifies all visual content for ease of implementation for the future.
Result
Although the company was going through financial challenges, the work produced had a positive effect on the success of the company. By introducing cost-effective high-level design the brand expanded consumer reach in mobile and social audiences. All creative channels followed suit which in-turn, kept the brand redesign within budget. Marketing, packaging and digital content was easily implemented with the help of a redesigned brand guidelines—shortening design tasks to hours instead of days.
Socially Inclined
An introduction of a cleaner design allowed marketing assets to be easily shared throughout all channels from site, direct mail, display ads, email, social and more.
Promotions were designed to fit into varied marketing channels from social, email and display ads.
Packaging, direct response, bounce-back postcards and business to business collateral were designed using bold typography, photography and colors.
The relaunch also included a new look and [literal] feel of its business card with UV on matte stock.
Designing a detailed brand book ensured print and digital direction was clear throughout all touch-points.
